Today, Vitesse Racing League is one year old.
On 10 October 2025, VRL was just a Discord server and an idea: a place to race F1 properly, with people who care about it as much as we do. One year later, here we are. Thank you to every single one of you who made that happen.
Year one in numbers
- 503 members in the Discord
- 187 drivers have raced in VRL
- 66 races across 40 race weekends, including 10 sprints
- 26 different race winners
- 4 seasons, 3 tiers and 11 teams
The full breakdown, with every champion, the all-time records and a season-by-season look back, is on the new Year One page.
How we grew
Season 1 was one tier and 39 drivers. Season 2 added a second tier, and 70 drivers raced. By Season 3, that grew to 93. Season 4 brought Tier 3 into the league: three full grids every race weekend.
Every new driver, every new team and every new tier happened because people kept turning up, kept racing and kept bringing their friends.
Our champions
- Season 1: Bardelino (Tier 1) · Williams take the constructors' title
- Season 2: Bardelino (Tier 1) and Pofi (Tier 2) · Red Bull and Williams win the constructors'
- Season 3: Brambull (Tier 1) and Mste (Tier 2) · Ferrari sweep both constructors' titles and the Overall Constructors' Championship
Bardelino is still the only driver with two titles. Who'll be next?
The record books
- Most wins: Brambull with 9, ahead of Bardelino and Tea on 6
- Most poles: Brambull again with 9, then Tea on 7
- Most podiums: Bardelino with 26
- Most starts: Odhran with 41 races. Dedication!
Season 4, so far
The fight goes on. Brambull leads Tier 1 on 85 points, Wxrrior heads a tight Tier 2, and unLuckyNoob44 leads Tier 3 by just a few points from Rayaan. There's plenty still to come.
Thank you
To every driver: thank you for showing up race after race, for the battles, the comebacks and the late nights. Whether you've won a title or just started as a reserve, you're what makes VRL.
To our staff, admins and stewards: thank you for the hours behind the scenes. Running races, entering results, reviewing incidents and keeping everything fair is a huge amount of work, done in your own free time.
To our Team Principals: thank you for building your teams, signing drivers and turning a race series into a proper championship.
To our commentators and streamers: thank you for bringing our races to life and making every night feel like a real Grand Prix.
And to everyone who votes for Driver of the Day, posts on the Paddock, makes predictions or just watches: thank you. A league is nothing without its community, and ours is something special.
Looking ahead
Year one hasn't all been perfect, and we know there's work to do, especially on driving standards. But the reason it matters so much is that this community is worth protecting. Let's make year two our cleanest and closest yet.
Here's to the next year, and to many more. 🏁
