Power rankings

Every driver scored out of 10 after each round, for how well they drove, not just where they finished. The season ranking is their average score.

Season ranking 4 rounds

Drivers need 3 rounds to be ranked. Missed rounds don't count against anyone.

How it's scored

Each driver gets a score out of 10 for the weekend, worked out automatically from the results:

  • Result (45%): how much of the field they beat. A DNF scores nothing here.
  • Against expectations (25%): where they finished compared with where the prediction model expected them to before the weekend. Beating your usual level scores well, even outside the podium.
  • Qualifying (15%): grid slot and lap-time gap to pole.
  • Places gained (15%): from their grid slot to the flag.

On sprint weekends the sprint counts for 20% of the score. Stewards' penalties for that race take points off. Cars are equal, so only the driver is judged.
